Sketching
Basic skills will be developed for the expression of ideas and concepts though sketching. With practical lab training the basic principles of perspectives drawing are taught.
My work in the first 3 weeks
In the first week we learned to draw lines freehand and the best and perfect way to draw a cube.
The best way to learn this is practicing... learning by doing!
Our first Assignment was to draw a product we like, so I chose a cigarette box. The cigarette box includes everything we learned in the lesson before and it was my first try using colors.
In week 2 we practiced the coloration and how to combine e.g. two cubes together. We also learned to draw and think in different perspectives. For our Assignment we got 3 pictures, a table, a house and a carton. We had to draw these 3 objects but in different perspectives.
I personally think the carton is the best result of the three because we learned how to draw a cube and this was nearly the same.
Last week we learned how to draw a ball, a cylinder and a pyramid. That was a lot of fun because I love to see the result of drawing and colorize objects. It looks fantastic! Our Assignment for this week was, to draw every object you learned in the last weeks but all these objects have to go to one vanishing point.
